How to join the Accreditation Scheme
With the support of the UK Environment Environmental and Maritime Agencies – Accredited Contractors are the first choice when the agencies look for a Contractor to deal with an oil or chemical spill. The website provides potential users with easy access to a qualified, Accredited Contractor, and this information is distributed within the Agencies intranets, as well as being promoted widely to consumers, commerce and industry.
The Scheme is comprised of a series of Modules, the first two, Module 0 and 1 are compulsory, and Modules 2-8 are specialist Modules which companies need to choose. To help with your application, and with choosing which specialist Modules, the Guide below sets out the key information about what is required to comply with the Accreditation requirements.
If you think that your company should join the Scheme – you can make an initial application here. Please ensure that you complete all fields
After completion of your initial application you will be contacted with details (username and password) for the Contractor Log In page. This allows access to the Online Accreditation process (OLA), where you select which modules you wish to be Accredited for, and then complete the Online Assessment process. Your OLA application is sent to our independent and experienced Assessors, who will contact you to arrange site visit, if required, and discuss your OLA application. The result of the Assessment is sent to the Scheme Manager, who will inform you of the result, issue a certificate, and publish your Accreditation status on the website.
